disregard above post by this random person...Rats can not really sweat very well and that temp would be too HOT...they can adjust better to cooler temps if they have cage mates to snuggle with..it is best to keep a constant temperature/ away from sunlight/ their skin can burn easily & they can over heat easily...if you touch their tail or foot & they are hot than YOUR RAT IS TOO HOT...a mild temperature is best not too hot or too cold
