How do multiple access points identify themselves as part of the same network
A wireless access point can function as an access point and it can also be used as a repeater....
If the printer can connect to the wireless access point via ethernet and that the printer has been enabled to be used on a wireless network then in theory yes.
The function of a wireless access point is to allow wireless devices such as projectors, laptops and PDAs to access a local area network. Wireless access points mainly act as switches to spread connections wirelessly. The difference between an access point and a router is that access points do not assign IP addresses nor do they have firewalls; they only lock out traffic that does not have the wireless key.

Your wireless access point or router has something called an SSID that is used to identify it. This could be set to hidden. You need to change the settings so that the SSID is no longer hidden.
The Cisco access point is used as a wireless antenna for computers and laptops and other electronic devices. If one would like to learn more about the Cisco access point and it's use, they could go to Google.
Usually IP addressing is used.
three basic types of antennas are: omnidirectional; semidirectional and highly directional antennas. typically when you purchase wireless access point and wireless NIC it has attached 2.14dbi omnidirectional antennas
it's called the SSID (service set identifier)
wifi is a wap (wireless access point (used for internet)) bluetooth is a data conecction (used 4 sending data)
It's best to use a wireless access point whenever the cost of running Ethernet is either too expensive, or inapplicable to certain settings. For example, if you worked in an office building that had false ceilings, it would be somewhat easy to have someone come in and run Ethernet. However, if you worked in a warehouse that is constantly re-utilizing it's space, it is unlikely that running Ethernet would be a good investment. Thus a wireless access point, or several access points would be used instead.
