The Dell Optiplex 745 can be extremely useful when it's working properly. If your computer starts to boot Windows XP then stops you should try to clean boot it from Safe mode and then go from there.
There are some minor differences between the OptiPlex 745 and 755 from Dell like different chipsets options and graphics cards. The 745 uses a Q965 Express chipset, while the 755 has a Q35 Express chipset. The 745 does not come equipped with a graphics card and the 755 does.
The Optiplex 745 is described as being very energy-efficient, using less power to do the same tasks that other models can. It also has remote monitoring and smart security.
Either a low profile AGP video card or a standard PCI card will do. PCI-E cards are not compatible.
Btw my Optiplex 745 does not support booting from a CD/DVD or floppy, only a usb or hard drive. the bios are also locked so you can see the problem, it also had a password for the admin and to start xp so i took the hard drive out a while ago and put it in an external enclosure and with my other CPU i have been trying to install windows on it, i finally put it inside my other CPU and tried installing windows on it again, it worked but when i put it in the other CPU it does not start up right anyone know how to make it start up in the optiple 745?

30% off of 745= 30% discount applied to 745= 745 - (30% * 745)= 745 - (0.30 * 745)= 745 - 223.5= 521.5
Yep, that should be working fine. Just connect the 5770 to a PCI slot on the motherboard, and connect the power PCI power cable from the graphics card to the PSU (Power Supply Unit).
