Windows 3.x refers to GUI (Graphical User Interface) based personal computer operating systems from Microsoft. These are very early predecessors of current Windows XP and Vista. These include Windows 3.0 or Windows 3.1x. These were followed by Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP and then Windows Vista.

There's Windows 95 and everything that came before it (including at least Windows 3.x and probably Windows 2.x). Windows 98 still seems like it's running on DOS, but it's a little different.

It seems to be a misspelling of "Windows MP," which stands for Windows Media Player.
3x + 3x + 3x = 3* (3x) = 9x
I'm pretty sure Windows 95 came in a 16-bit version as well as a 32-bit version but I'm not sure about any other Windows OSes.
