When typing on a computer how do you stop underline a word?
There are several ways to underline a word when typing on a
computer using a Word program. First, make sure your cursor is on
the word you want to underline, or highlight the word or sentence
you want to underline. If you are using Microsoft Word, you can go
to the Format tab at the top of the program, choose Font from the
drop-down list, then choose Underline. If you have the toolbar at
the top with a button that has a "U" on it, you can press that and
it will underline for you. Or, you can press Ctrl and the "u" key
at the same time and it will underline for you. Most word
processing programs have one of these options available for you to
underline a word or sentence. These same instructions apply also if
you want to bold a word or italicize a word.
Just fyi, to underline my instructions in this post, I
highlighted what I wanted to underline and pressed the Ctrl button
and the "u" button at the same time. Hope this answer helps
you!
