Describe the Purpose Features and Functions of window XP and Ms DOS?
MS-DOS is command based operating system which was developed by
Microsoft in the early 80s. It was used for the IBM PC and
compatibles. It allowed a computer user to type many commands to do
certain functions, such as Copy, Move, Execute files etc.

Windows XP is Graphical User Interface based operating system
which again was developed by Microsoft in 2001. Windows XP has a
huge array of functions, allowing a computer user, to do what
MS-DOS could do, but many more features such as:
more control over programs than MS-DOS
