Excel does not have a specific chart area. You might be referring to the area within a chart where you can change the legend and other information. You will find chart tools on the Insert tab of the Excel 2007 ribbon.
In Excel 2007 and later, click on the Insert tab and go to the Charts section.
Use the Insert tab and select from the Charts section.
List items in one column, and in next column beside it list the data; select both columns and under chart tools select "pie"
It is in the Chart Tools Design tab. You need to click on the Move Chart Location tab.select the chart in excel, then we get DESIGN menu in menu bar, then click that DESIGN menu, then we get options present in that design menu.In that options at the right side top of the window we can see "MOVE CHART" then click that and give location where u want to move the chart.
The main ones are: File, Edit, View, Insert, Format, Tools, Data, Window and Help. At times others will appear, like a Chart menu when you have a chart selected.
This would be under the tools tab. Go into excel and click on this tab to see all of the options that are available for modifying your axis labels.
Chart types include ones like bar, pie, column, XY etc. Chart Tools include all the different categories of tools that you can use when working on a chart. Chart Type and Chart layout would be part of the Chart Tools. Chart layout is about how the chart looks, like what titles are on it, settings for the axis, legends and their positions on the chart etc.
Using the Chart Tools you can change the existing type of chart. Make sure you are either on a chart sheet or have an embedded chart selected before beginning. You also need to be sure you have the appropriate data selected, as different charts work differently. For example, a pie chart can only have one series.
That is correct.
An embedded chart is a chart that is drawn on the same worksheet as the data. Excel Chart In Excel, you can create embedded charts or chart sheets. Embedded chart exists as an object on the same worksheet with the plotted data. Chart sheet exists on a separate sheet in the workbook. Since all charts are linked to the data they plot, the chart changes with any changes made in the plotted data. Also, hidden columns or rows are not shown on the chart by default. This can be changed by unchecking the "Plot visible cells only" option on the Chart tab under Tools > Options.... HOPE THIS WILL HELP YOU :D
Right click on the embedded chart and choose 'location'.Click radio button next to 'As new sheet' then click OK.Alselect CHART TOOLS DESIGN TAB, then click MOVE CHART LOCATION
