Not exactly. The T2330 is almost the same as the T5250 except for a few things. The T2330 has only 1mb of L2 cache(as opposed to 2mb on the T5250), and actually has a higher clock speed at 1.6ghz(the T5250 is 1.5ghz). The T2330 can actually perform a bit faster than the T5250 in certain processes, but for the most part should perform about equal to the T5250. The lack of cache isn't noticeable in everyday usage and only really shows if you have multiple(more than 5) programs open and going at full load, or are running very demanding games. Even then, the difference isn't on a large scale. For comparison's sake, the T5250 has a 667mhz Front Side Bus and a 9x multiplier while the T2330 has a 533mhz FSB and a 12x multiplier. Both have a TDP of 35 watts, are built on 65 nanometer process, and are Merom cores(Merom-2M cores, specifically). They are actually made from the from the same silicon imprint, but after manufacturing are differentiated by either defects in cache or some other problem causing them to not express full capability, which would be a T7250. "Pentium dual core" has become Intel's economy line name, however it's every bit as much a Core 2 Duo as an officially labelled C2D, except for half the cache.
The definite answer is Core 2 Duo T5250... It has more chache (2MB) and more bus speed (667MHz) compared to that of T2330 which has 1MB cache and 533 MHz Bus speed... (Simply, Pentium dual core is a budget solution for Core 2 duos). So even though the clock speed of T2330 is 0.1GHz higher, than the T5250, The T5250 will perform better.

The Intel x86 T2250 and T2330 are discontinued legacy processors. The T2250 is The Core Duo is faster with a clock speed of 1.73 GHz and a front side bus and L2 of 2-mb. The Pentium is an older architecture and less powerful at 1.6 GHz and an L2 of 1-mb. Both processors have a front side bus (FSB) of 533-MHz.
The Core 2 by a long shot. It uses a much different architecture (design) then the Pentium. It has a higher front side bus (FSB), more L2 cache, and will give you MUCH better performance than the Pentium.
same but i recommend you to use the Core 2 Duo instead of the Pentium
The Pentium Dual Core. Don't be confused by pure clock rate. The Pentium Dual Core has the same architecture as the Intel Core 2 Duo, and is much more efficient than any Pentium 4.
non!!! Intel celeron is better than Intel Pentium dual core
T4200 has Enhanced Intel® Speedstep Technology which the celeron doesn't. http://ark.intel.com/Product.aspx?id=37251 vs http://ark.intel.com/Product.aspx?id=41498 Not having speedstep on an laptop will be bad for your battery consumption.
Why cant i play wolfteam com specs are as follow Processor: Pentium(R)Dual-core T4200 @ 2.00GHz 2.00GHz RAM: 2.00GB display adapter: Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family (srry but not enough details) thxs for the help
You need a good graphic card to play the latest games.
Sorry to be short but check it out here: http://ark.intel.com/Compare.aspx?ids=37251,35583, Basically the T4200 is newer architecture.
An Intel T2400 can be purchased from a variety of retailers online. Currently, the Intel T4200 is available from Newegg, eBay, Amazon, PC Hub, and CPU World.
Yes, it has 2 cores running at 2 GHz a peice. The info below was taken directly from Intel. Essentials Status Launched Launch Date Q1'09 Processor Number T4200 # of Cores 2 Clock Speed 2 GHz L2 Cache 1 MB FSB Speed 800 MHz FSB Parity Instruction Set 64-bit Embedded Supplemental SKU Lithography 45 nm Max TDP 35 W
no way
T6500 is faster and also, the T6500 is not "core duo" like the T4200 but "Core 2 Duo" (newer)
most probaly, check the gta 4 site for the requirements?
The difference is that the Core 2 DUO E7500 Is much faster and is dual cored. Single core are slower and very harder to operate. Dual core and higher is MUCH faster and easier to operate in computers. Although, they are a little more expensive.
Yes, you can go up to 4 Gbs. Even so you will able to use only 3.25 GBs of installed memory. It's a natural limitation of 32 bit systems.
