iPads can come with 3G or WiFi, unlike the iPod Touch. Also, you can text to phones with the iPad.

The major difference between and iPad and a laptop is the size, an iPad is a lot smaller and more compact than any laptop or netbook on the market today. iPad also runs on microprocessors and runs altra clear LED lights.

Another major difference is the fact that the iPad runs "Apps" normal laptops can only access stuff that is on the internet and cannot access and interact with the applications like an iPad can.

actually the differance between the ipad and a laptop is, laptops you can multi-task on and a ipad you can't. The ipad is thinner and you can download as many apps as it allows you to. A laptop you upgrade as were a ipad you can't. The simialatries are they are both portable, but for people not so strong or even small they can not carry a laptop around all day.
