The difference is, is that the regular nook isn't a touch screen, you can only read books, I don't know if you can go on the internet and the nook color is a touch screen, has books and apps, and has Internet!
Nook- E-Ink display, so you can read in sunlight but not in dark places ( black&white) however, it has a small color capacitive touchscreen at the bottom
NC- LCD backlight display, so you can't read in the sunlight but you can read in the dark ( and it has color) capacitive touchscreen
Nook- Runs android (idk what version)
NC- Runs a scaled- down version of android 2.1 (eclair) with possible upgrade to 2.2 in april
Nook- more physical buttons
NC- only physical buttons are home, volume, lock.
Nook- wifi +3g (att)
NC- wifi only
Also worth mentioning is that the NC has a 7 inch capacitive touchscreen, similar to many tablet computers. The prices are similar on each. If you want a e-reader completely dedicated to e-reading, get nook. If you want a bunch of other things as well, but minus the e-ink and 3g, get nc.
Function wise they are the same, although Nook Tablet can stream movies and TV shows from Netflix for instance better than the Color.
Also, the Tablet has a larger memory and faster processor.
No the nook color has better ratings but nook tablets are better yet
it is newer, and you can get magazines on it
NookColor is an advanced and better version of the Nook. The NookColor includes Pandora Radio, reading a book aloud, color touch screen, and more.
It depends on whether you want something cheap just for reading then its a regular Nook but if you want all the expensive features like games its the Nook color.
Well acully nook are better than kindell fires
the nook tablet because its newer and it has more battery power and more for just 50 dollars more.
nope the nook is much smaller than the nook color! dah!
My nook color... I've never had a nook color so your question is moot.
One of the biggest advantages of having a Nook Color over a Kindle is, a Nook Color has color while a Kindle is in black and white. This could come in handy if you're reading a textbook with pictures and you need to see colors to understand a map key.
no
No
Ive owned both , the nook color freezes, and is not useful after a couple of days and games cost WAY more. Kindle is way better, very useful, cheap popular games, and has cloud.
