Take off the sticker.
When I first got mine, I was rather puzzled. First you have to peel off the sticker protecting the screen. Don't be fooled, it's a sticker, not the real screen. Then you turn it on by pressing the long button in the top of the iPod. Follow the prompts.
The touch screen on a Garmin works by responding to pressure that is appllied to the screen.
You touch it with your finger or a stylus.

No they work on alot of phones. Usally touch screen but some touch screen don't have it. So no they don't work on any phones
