The Format Painter takes the formatting from one piece of text or item and pastes it onto something else you select. This is handy when you have a combination of formats on something and want to apply them to another item, without having to do them individually.To use it:Put the cursor in the text you want to copy the format of.Click on the Format Painter icon on the Formatting Toolbar.Click into or select the text that you want to copy the formatting to.
You would use the format painter to copy formatting from one cell to another cell or cells. You can also use copy and then use Paste Special to copy just the formatting.Use the copy command and then paste format.
To copy a function to another cell, you can simply click on the cell containing the function, then use the keyboard shortcuts Ctrl+C to copy, and Ctrl+V to paste it into the desired cell. Alternatively, you can also click and drag the fill handle (a small square at the bottom right corner of the cell) to the cell where you want to copy the function.
to move a paragraph you should copy that parah and then shift it to the place where you want to settle it and then click the paste option
