It means that the thumb drive houses a total memory of 256MegaBytes. However, don't be fooled into thinking you can put 256MB of information on it. The drive takes up some of the memory for software that it uses to "know what do" as a thumb drive.
256MB RAM, 1/4 of 1GB of RAM, is an amount of computer memory (Random Access Memory)
i think you mean 256 mb as this is a quarter of a gigabyte so there would be 4 lots of 256mb in a gigabyte as a gigabyte is 1024 mb
"Plug and Play monitor" is a monitor that Windows was able to automatically detect the refresh rates and resolution for, but either monitor does not support device IDs to provide the name of the monitor, or it transmitted them incorrectly.
need more info on the graphics card
GDDR3 is a type of memory. the 3 refers to the speed at which data can be accessed on it. I'm not sure but I believe it refers to the number of data lanes available. obviously, the higher the number, the faster it is. Right now, the most common type is GDDR2 whereas older computers used GDDR or just DDR. Currently, it goes up to GDDR5 which is only used in some graphics cards.
As far as a side by side comparison, neither is better. If your looking to buy a graphics card from them, post the ones your interested in so then they can be compared. Both companies offer better graphics cards at different price points. If you mean which makes the best high end product, Nvidia currently has the highest performing single graphics card but ATI isn't far behind And by the way, Nvidia is the company that makes the Geforce series of graphics cards and ATI makes the Radeon series.
To play WoW Cataclysm it is recommended to have a NVIDIA GeForce FX or ATI Radeon 9500 video card or better. If you were to buy a $40 or more graphics card now you should be fine. That doesn't mean it will run with full graphics just that it will work decently.
You probably mean 1920x1200, as 1920x1600 is not a screen resolution used by any monitors on the market. Pretty much any video card in a computer you have bought in the past few years will run at 1920x1200, but not necessarily run games at that resolution. To run the latest games at this high of a resolution, you most likely would need a card with at least 256mb of graphics memory.
