Check Your internet Connection:
Ensure that your internet connection is stable. Try loading other websites to confirm that the issue is specific to the webpage you're trying to access.
Refresh the Page:
Click the circular arrow icon in the address bar or press Command + R to refresh the page. Sometimes, a simple refresh can resolve the problem.
Clear Cache and Cookies:
Safari might be having trouble with cached data or cookies. Go to Safari > Preferences > Privacy, and click on "Manage Website Data." Remove the data for the problematic website.
Try a Different Browser:
Use another web browser (like Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox) to see if the issue persists. This can help determine whether the problem is specific to Safari.
Check the URL:
Ensure that you entered the correct URL. Typos in the address can lead to page loading errors.

To change the Home page select Preferences from the Safari menu. In the General section set the New windows open with option to whatever you want, if using a home page type the address in the Home page box or if you have the page open click the Set to Current Page button. Close the preferences window and Safari will open your selected home page when it starts.
open safari then up the top where file is go left and click the safari word then click preferences then either type in www.facebook.com or click set to current page and from then on everytime you open up safari your page will be facebook
Open Safari, go to the Google page you want as your home page. Click the Safari name then click Preferences. Under the General tab where you see Homepage you will see Set to Current Page. Click that and your current Google page will be set as your Home Page.
open up safari and go to the top left corner of your screen, click "safari" (next to the apple) then scroll down to preferences and click, then type in the page you want for your home page and save
The reason Safari says it cannot open a page because it is not connected to the Internet is because.... it cannot open a page because it is not connected to the Internet. (i.e. you don't have an internet connection - check your WiFi status in your iPod Touch "settings")
Basically I saved a safari seach on my apps page and I don't know how to remove it, little help?
If you mean on the internet, look at the top bar on the Mac while safari is open. Click 'history' and then go to the bottom of the list. Then click 'clear history'.
First, tap the Safari app. Then, tap on the symbol that looks like an open book on the middle of the bottom bar in Safari. That is where all of your bookmarks are, and the history is there, too.
Open the Safari Preferences (it's on the "Safari" menu) and click the "general preferences" tab. Put google.com in the Home Page field, and it'll open Google every time you open a new Safari window. Why you'd want to do this with Google I don't know; just to the right of the URL field at the top of every Safari window is a search field. Enter text in that field and push Return, and a Google search will happen.
At the top of the screen go to: Edit. In the edit menu go to: PreferencesIn the window that pops up go to the tab at the top that says: general. The fifth option should say: "Home Page". Paste the address of your desired home page there.
It depends mainly on what web page you are trying to view and the version of safari you are using. There may be a problem with the webpage or Safari too old to recognize new types of html. Sometimes a slow or spotty internet connection can cause the CSS styles to not load or load improperly, thus not displaying the page as intended.
First, open up what ever browser you are using(safari, firefox or chrome). Now on the top left corner you will see the name of your browser.Click it, then click the word"Preferences".Click that. You will then see a text box with the name of your current homepage.Delete it, and change it to www.google.com.
