I believe what comes after byte is Kilobyte, then megabyte, then gigabyte, then terabyte, then petabyte, exabyte, zettabyte, yottabyte, and more after that...

I believe you meant difference between a bit and a byte. A byte is 8 bits.
There are two nibbles in a byte.
Byte, since there are 8 bits in every byte
1024 amos byte = 1 pectrol byte
Eight bits are in one byte
