What can rats do to you?

Not directly, they are pretty small critters despite being tenacious.

However rats carry the black death which has been the cause of death for millions of people.

Rat bit fever is fatal in some cases.

Rabies is 100% fatal for all advance cases.

(Rats actually do not carry the plague. The fleas which are on the rats caused the black plague. Rats urine however can cause weils disease)

Absolutely. Our dog was the answer to our rat problem at my childhood home. We'd find carcasses all over the back yard. Some dogs were even bred for that purpose. Small dogs with short tales like Yorkies were built to hunt rodents

Bite, lick, scratch, scare, endear, etc... About the same number of things dogs can do to you. Mine rarely bite and when they do it's just a little nibble. They never try and hurt you unless you scare them or challenge them or something like that.
