None whatsoever.
Yes the PS3 harddrives are designed to be replaced with standard notebook sized harddrives
There are none as RAM allows random write access while ROM only allows read access (the very reason why it's called ROM because it stands for Read-Only Memory).
You can get rid of old video, music tapes and harddrives by going to your local dumping place and giving it to the employees so they can take care of the video and music tapes or harddrives
harddrives
cdrom is static rom
Because you are not playing a game disc
Both of them serve for somewhat similar purpose ie storing Although in a different way. ROM /BIOS (BASIC INPUT OUTPUT SYSTEM ) Both of them have flat shape . RAM (Random Access Memory) can be modified. ROM ( Read only memory) is just that, Read only. Both are "chip" based memory, but only RAM can me modified.
all rom is static
A CD ROM drive cannot read a DVD. So it is not possible to use a CD ROM as a DVD ROM. A DVD ROM drive can work with a CD though.
PS3s were made with different size harddrives
