Internal noise is due to the thermal agitation of the atoms in the electrical components of communication system.

Sound is noise in communication
The word 'Noise' in communication theory is a barrier to communication that may weaken or destroy a message that is trying to be relayed There are a number of ways to classify noise. It can be subdivided according to type, source, effect, or relation to the receiver, depending on circumstances. In order to make the classification more compact, noise sources can be divided into two main groups: • Noise whose sources are external to the receiver (External Noise) and • Noise source created within the receiver itself (Internal Noise). types include: Shot noise; Johnson noise; Partition noise and White noise

An internal noise is defined as noise from within which is commonly related to the mind. This noise cannot be heard by outsiders.
noise is an undesired and unwanted sound or singnal in communication
Noise can be divided into three sub categories; external, internal, and semantic. External noise can be considered factors outside of a person that distracts them during communication. Typically it is the sights, sounds, smells, textures, and environmental factors. Internal noise can be one's thoughts or feelings that interfere with communication. Or in many cases, daydreaming, feeling tried, and illness. Semantic noise: Reactions aroused unintentionally by symbols or words, causing the listener to abruptly focus on an unrelated topic. In many cases the main reason of this occurrence is a poorly developed speech, in terms which the presenter did not fully understand or most likely underestimated the intellectually or the feelings of the audience. Most common forms of this noise are discriminatory remarks, red flag words, and controversial symbols.
The term for anything that impedes the communication of a message is "noise." Noise refers to any interference in the communication process that distorts or interrupts the flow of information from the sender to the receiver. It can be both internal (such as distractions or biases) and external (such as physical barriers or technical issues).
It has to do with data communication. It is called the Shannon channel capacity theory where double the bandwidth equals double the highest data rate. This is of course theoretically and does not take into account white noise (thermal noise), impulse noise, attenuation distortion or delay distortion.
