Example: someone does not have internet in their house, only a laptop.

They have taken photographs and uploaded them from camera to their laptop.

Then put usb data stick in laptop and copy pictures onto stick.

Take stick out and later on plug into a computer in local library or internet cafe,

and send photographs to friends.
