I am a 12 year old girl and i think you should get your daughter a phone. Maybe a simple slide if she wants to text, Basic phones kinda suck. So get her a cheap Virgin mobile slide for like 40 bucks and unlimited web, text and 300 min for 25 bucks a month. pretty good deal.

I believe that they should have cell phones because they need to contact you. If your child is lost somewhere they need to contact you somehow. Or if your a child playing outside but your parents don't know were you are or where your going with your friends.
