Jailbreaking is a term used to describe the process whereby an iPhone can use applications not available through the iTunes App Store which otherwise is the only source of apps for the iPhone. Such limitations do not apply to the iMac and so jailbreaking is of no relevance.

As of now, iMacs do not run iOS, so they can not be jailbroken, but software can be run on the iMac (assuming it is a new model that runs the Operating System such as 10.5.8 or 10.6.x required for running a jailbreak tool such as GreenP0ison or Blackra1n.
