I had a hungry Ball Python and I dropped a mouse in with it and it wouldn't touch it. The next morning the mouse gave birth and my ball python still wouldn't go near it. Tonight I tried to feed my king snake a mouse and my snake ignored it, even after I trapped the mouse within inches from my snake. So I removed that one and dropped in another and my king snake ate it with no problems. I bet in the morning that mouse it wouldn't eat will be delivering baby's But on You-tube I saw a ball python eat what the feeder says was a pregnant mouse so idk.
Very possible! If you feed your snake live mice. I would suggest feeding them dead and just freeze them, I hope the little guy is ok :D Hope this helps!
ok listen carefully sun rays feed plant>mouse eats plant>mouse dies>fly eats mouse>spider catches fly in web and eats> bird eats spider>snake eats bird> owl eats snake>owl dies and it goes from there
I think your friend is weird. Did she ask to feed the poor snake this food? Next time be more careful. Take the snake to the vet and get it checked out. Feed the snake insects next time. Oh, and friend- please be aware of what you feed little animals.
It is best to feed an abandoned baby mouse regular or kitten/puppy milk mix diluted in water. Once it has opened its eyes it is ok to start giving it bits of solid foods like cheese, or specialized mouse food. I would assume she is "gravid" (pregnant). The fry will be of normal size and should do OK on ground/crushed flake.
WHOLE FAT COW MILK IS OK FOR AN EMERGENCY SITUATION BUT A VETERINARIAN WOULD NEED TO CREATE A MORE NUTRITIOUS FORMULA IN THE LONG RUN.
a serpent is a snake, it is a type of reptile, but it is an animal.
It depends on the size of your kingsnake. Two pinkies or juvenile mice should be enough for even large adults. Feed about every 10 days.
go and ask a vet if your corn snake is OK.
Yes. Goats are considered the "Universal Foster Mother." Any animal from apes to human babies to zebras can be fed goats milk and thrive.
No do not feed it that.
