Well 500 Megabytes(MB) is roughly half of one Gigabyte(GB). so depending on how much space your computer hard drive holds will determine your definition of "a lot".this is the official measurement posted by Google....1 gigabyte = 1024 megabytes .Most modern domestic computers have hundreds of gigabytes of memory - in that context 500 MB is not a lot.
Sure, why not. 500 GB still is a lot of storage space. If you upgrade your computer hard drive you can put the 500 GB drive in an external container and use it for off-line storage of videos, pictures, and other files you want to save.
Asuming you mean Megabytes, or Mbps, then no. There is ruffly 1000 mbps in 1 Gb. So a 100 Gb drive can hold 100000 Mbps. The average computer in 2011 has a 250 to 500 GB hard drive.
It depends on how large the files that you put on it are. I have a 2GB flash drive, and I put on it a ton of files. 16GB is a lot of capacity.
Yes the 250 Gb hard drive has a lot of room for graphics and the laptop is always upgradable, having a great DVD drive in it.
Depends on the hard drive capacity. A typical 500GB hard drive can contain a lot of data. The typical user wouldn't fill that much space. Text documents and even pictures barely can make a dent, operating systems (such as windows vista) take about 10 gb. Hard drives have a pretty much unlimited size at this point, you could make a huge one that holds hundreds of terabytes (1000 gigabytes). a standard hard drive is around $100 and would hold between 300 and 500 gb, depending on the manufacturer and the speed of the drive, the faster you go the more expensive.
Not necessarily. As a matter of fact, nowadays you can get what are called Solid State Hard Drives, which are quite different from the old school IDE hard drives and the current standard SATA hard drives. I don't know much about Solid State Hard Disk Drives but it is my understanding that they tend to last a lot longer than both IDE and SATA. A 60 GB Solid State hard drive will cost about the same as a 500 GB SATA drive, apparently because they last longer and are better all around.
Minecraft shouldn't take more than 1 or 2 gigs of free memory if you are not doing much(example, mining, idling on singleplayer) If you are on a heavy traffic Minecraft server, or if you have a lot of mods, Minecraft could use from 4 to 10 gigs of free ram. If you are asking about hard drive, it can be around one half to one gig of hard drive space.
I would get a lot in case because you never know and the software must take up a lot of memory. and it depends how much graphics you deal with. i would probably get 750 gb or 1000 gb (1 tb) just to be on the safe side. it doesnt cost as much to get a large hard drive as it used to before. its always better to get more memory than less. (hope this helps:) )
no you cant play it on that hard drive but there are solutoins 1) Is to get a new computer 2) Get a new hard drive 3) Get a lot of add ons number one would cheaper as you would have to refdo the whole computer for optoin two and three
Around 3 Gb. It would depend on your hard drive on what means "alot". As your computer could be ranging from any thing.
The Wii has an internal .5 gigabyte flash memory on it's hard drive, which is 512 megabytes on the Wii's hard drive.
