i have peotv facilities and can i connect additiona tv to the same set top bos
No I don't believe it will work and yet I have still researched the question to determine what might work. The PS3 is designed to be connected to a TV or HDTV (which is still a TV) and the monitor you have could be used as a TV. To do this you would connect the monition to a set top box with a DV1 cable output from the DV1 output for the set top box to the input on the monitor it still would not have sound only TV picture (see related link) Some PC type speakers could probably be connected to the set top box audio output to provide the sound. If the set top box has an input for HDMI you might be all set to just plug the PS3 into it. However if you don't already have all the parts it would be much cheaper to just purchase an LCD HDTV whose prices continue to decrease.
You have to buy a HD ready TV or connect your TV with a Set Top Box.
Yes, just connect the audio and video cables and hit.
Yes you can, just use a VGA cable and that will typically allow you to connect a laptop to a monitor. Once you connect the monitor, you need to go to your properties and allow the monitor extend the screen.
Connect the HDMI out from your set-top box to the HDMI socket of your HDTV. Alternatively you can use component (red blue green) or S video PLUS a separate audio output (such as RCA or red and white) from your set-top box to your TV. In terms of picture quality, HDMI is the best, component next and S video worst.
The decorder needs to have a VIDEO output, some do and some don't. Connect the video output to the tv's video input. These connections might be the R G B connectors or a HDMI connectors, these will be the best to use.
How you set up a computer varies depending on the type of computer. A laptop does not require the same steps as a desk top. You use the monitor cable to connect the monitor to the computer case, or tower. Plug in the cords for the keyboard and mouse. Plug the power supply cords into a surge protector.
If the Phillips system has an audio input (preferably a coaxial digital input), you can.
Acorn Online Media Set Top Box was created in 1996.
All you need is a TV tuner card that has "AV in" facility. From your Set Top Box connect the AV cord to your AV in port of your TV tuner card and you are done.
Not at all. The requirement is that the television has an input that is compatible with the PC. This may be a VGA input, RGB input, HDMI or DVI.Note that if the computer has a DVI output, a DVI to HDMI lead can connect the dsplay to a television although it won't have an audio signal.
