The space reserved for virtual memory varies on different computers. It depends on the operating system in use and how much system memory is available.
Memory, CPU, perhaps virtual memory on the system drive, and temporary space on the hard drive being defragmented. How much of each is needed depends on the software used to do the defragmentation.

Depends on the system :D
Temporary memory is used to store program and applications that are being used at the time and allows for computing to be much faster. After the program closes the memory is no longer needed. there are two types RAM and Virtual Memory. RAM is a separate card and stands for Random Access Memory. Virtual Memory is space reserved on the Hard drive for the same purpose. By far the most efficient type is RAM as it is much faster than Virtual Memory and doesn't take Hard drive space al though for a modern computer both are needed for efficient performance.
Yes. Virtual memory is used when there's not enough RAM in your system. It's just hard drive space that the PC sees as RAM. It is much much slower than RAM though. You could run out of memory if you are running enough programs that your use up all your RAM and your virtual memory is used up.
Not possible sd card is just a disk to store files on, it is not assigned to the operating system. Windows ReadyBoost With Windows ReadyBoost, you can use a flash memory device, like a universal serial bus (USB) flash drive or secure digital (SD) memory card, to improve your computer's system performance without having to add additional memory. The flash memory device serves as an additional memory cache-memory that the computer can access much more quickly than it can access data on the hard disk drive.
When your PC runs of of physical memory - it uses the hard drive as memory so it's much slower when it gets to that point.
you will get around 297GB space in your hard drive
you can have as much as you like. you would just have to get a bigger hard drive, memory stick, external hard drive or server etc.
Depends. The memory capacity varies. Plus it is listed always on the flash drive itself. The memory ranges from up to 128 MB to 1 TB. MB=megabyte TB=Terabyte
