I assume you are buying some kind of plan for an internet service. 5mb may be okay for reading emails (without pictures) and browsing the internet occasionally. If you plan to look at pictures, listen to music, or watch videos, this will not be enough. A typical song is about 1mb per minute so this is about equal to 5mins of music. Any video will be at least 5mb putting you over the limit after just one video. This is probably good for about 100 normal sized pictures.
Going by my typical internet usage, I use about 5gb a month (over 5,000mb) but I use it more than most. 1gb should suffice for you (about 1,000mb) if you do watch movies and other similar stuff.
A good quality MP3 file typically uses about one megabyte per minute - but large variations are possible.
5000 mb or depending on the companies honesty 5120 mb
$5
The size of the song itself will vary, depending on length and the compression rate, but will usually be between 3 and 5 MB
A gigabyte is a billion characters. 1024 (or 1000, depending on circumstance) MB. 8 bits = 1 byte 1024 bites = 1 megabyte 1024 megabites = 1 gigabyte
4,101.305 MB, but because of the way memory works, you actually don't have a 5GB hard drive. It probably only holds about 4.6 or 4.7 GB of memory.
Well you shouldn't use that up in a month unless you acctualy stream high def movies over the internet. That is 5 gbs of data. The amount of normal downloads will never bring you that close. But not P2P sharing.
A lot. But the things that use up the most are: 1. Videos (I'd say 5 mb a minute), 2. Music (3 mb a minute), 3. GIFS (2 mb a minute), 4. High quality images (1 mb per picture), 5. Normal images (0.5 mb a picture), 6. Text posts (0.1 mb every 100 words). This is approximate though.
2-5 Mb per minute

I would say that 5 meg is just enough if you rarely go on the internet. If you are on the web alot, you are going to be wanting about 5-10GB.
5GB would be 5*1024MB i.e. 5120MB
