from 1 to 8, most games have about 4geg of DVD data, and about 2 geg install. the biggest disk supported game ive ever seen was b&w2, with 4 geg install space and a data CD.
although after saying that almost all modern games save completely to disk (if it comes of a single DVD, <8geg) and then require the data disk purly as an anti piracy measure
