This question is not clear. You can set whatever passwords you like. Passwords to open documents and modify documents can be the same or different. You need to remember them to be able to use them.
I can't seem to find any documents telling how to do that, you might just have to do them one by one.

Each loaded in document is in a different tab across the top of the work area
You can open them with different things. A browser will display the web page. Any text editor should be able to open the actual file so you can see the code. Anything that can open a text file, like a word processor, will open a html file. Specialise html editors and programs like Dreamweaver can also open html documents.

open documents then go to View tab, in Window section you have many options
As many or as few as is appropriate
If you have windows XP then just click start and type in documents.
Any PDA with Windows CE (or a later Windows operating system) can open Office documents.
