A dot matrix printer creates an image by using a mechanism called a print head, which contains a cluster (or matrix) of short pins arranged in one or more columns. On receiving instructions from the PC, the printer can push any of the pins out in any combination. By pushing out pins in various combinations, the print head can create alphanumeric characters When pushed out from the duster, the protruding pins’ ends strike a ribbon, which is held in place between the print head and the paper. When the pins strike the ribbon, they press ink from the ribbon onto the paper.
The electromagnet keeps the pins in place until a charge is made to a coil wrapped around the print wire, momentarily eliminating the magnetization and allowing the pin to spring forward. The pins print a pattern, or matrix, of dots on the paper, which creates letters and other characters as the print head moves across the page on a track. Each time the print head scans the page, it prints a slightly lower part of the line, until all the characters are completely formed.

Many programs offer a "Print to PDF" option, to create an image of what a printed page would look like. You can store the PDF on your hard drive, or copy it to a flash disk to print elsewhere.
create a web page to showimage mapping
A print overrun occurs when a page image cannot be processed and rendered as quickly as the laser printer engine drives the page through the printer. This results in pages that are not completely printed.
That would be called a DOT-MATRIX printer. The oldest being the 9-pin dot matrix printers and the newer being the 24-pin dot matrix printers. However they are considered outdated except as receipt printers, or any kind of printing where multi-part forms are required.
For this you have to create JavaScript for the program. You have to apply the code in onHover attribute of image.
Evidently you have a page printing Laser Printer rather than an Inkjet or matrix style. That technology uses a drum. This is similar in concept to a copier, and contains a Drum. It may be an integral part of the toner cartridge.
i guess not.
Dot matrix has little pins that strike a ribbon (much like a regular typewriter) to print a dot of ink onto a page. An ink-jet printer squirts tiny drops of ink directly onto the paper. One advantage of the ink-jet is that it can print in color. (it's also quieter).
ink jet printers areb examples of non impact printers. the printer sprays tiny droprets of ink onto the paper.
Look in your printer menu and it should be under Layout, you should then see an option on how many per page, which direction, etc.
