Windows 7 automatically install HP Webcam driver. So if you install Yahoo, Skype, Window Live Messenger or any other Video chat its work perfectly.
If you use webcam offline for capture pictures and videos use Cyberlink YouCam, ManyCam or WebcamMax.

if you have the g56 hp, then it does not. you have the software (youcam) but you dont have the hardware

Go to the start menu of the computer, select the All Programs option. Once there, go to Hp Tools and choose the options for Hp Camera. This will turn on the web cam for the computer.
