Hi, as far as I know there is no problem to use a Kindle on an airplane to read a book. You will need to turn off the 3G and WIFI and read what you have on the kindle already. You will have to do the usual of turn off all devices for takeoff etc but later you can turn it on as long as WIFI is off. If airplane personnel ask you to turn it off show them the 3G and WIFI is off and should be no problem. Like when you put your mobile phone in airplane mode etc.
It can, and using it while it's charging won't hurt it, but sometimes it's difficult to use the Kindle Fire while it's on the charger. This may depend on your version of the Kindle, but there are some that are glitchy and difficult to use when they're being charged.

To turn off Safe mode on a Kindle device, you typically need to restart the device. This can be done by pressing and holding the power button for about 40 seconds until the device restarts. Once the Kindle restarts, it should no longer be in Safe mode. If the issue persists, you may need to troubleshoot further or contact Amazon customer support for assistance.
