Look at the ends of the cables. USB 2.0 cables have rectangular shaped, flatter ends. USB 1.0 cables have thick square ends.
Test data transfer speed. Connect a device with each cable and try to move files back and forth from the device and your computer. A USB 2.0 cable is up to 40 times faster at transferring data.
Recall when you received each cable. USB 2.0 cables are the new standard as of 2001, so any USB 1.0 cable you have most likely came with a pre-2001 device.
No, there is no difference in b type female connectors for usb 1 or 1.1 or 2
The main difference is the speed at which data is transferred. USB 2 is 320 times faster than USB 1 !
usb port 1 or 2
Technically, you can't merge 2 USBs into one. But usually if you have a double usb extension it can handle only one instead of two. Really, it doesn't matter if it's one main usb or a double. It will still work.
yes, it has 2 on the back and 1 on the front
In Window XP:"Right click my computer, then "manage", select device manager and scroll down to USB controllers. Click the + then look for the word "Enhanced" in either of the host controller listed. If there's 1 with Enhanced, then you have USB2.0 capable hardware. See the related link for more info about USB1.1 and USB2.0
what do you mean, what are the usb ports, they are for high speed complication, usually 2 on back Acers have 1 on the right side , 2 small one left..
If it's USB 2.0 it is likely the faster one. You could also guess and check but most manuals for either your motherboard or case will tell you what each of the USB ports are capable of.
It is free, but you have to tell the person who is selling you the phone to order the cable. 4 weeks or so, it will arrive.
