Rename the Excel file with ext name ".xls" then it is normally open........
Normally when you open Excel there are 3 sheets open. They are Sheet1, Sheet2 and Sheet3. Sometimes you will want to give more meaningful names to those sheets. By right clicking on the sheet tab and clicking the Rename option or by double clicking, you can rename a sheet. So you could have many sheets with names on them that are meaningful to what you are doing, which is what we mean by naming sheets.
A workbook in Excel will be Book1.xlsx for versions from Excel 2007 onwards, or Book1.xls for earlier versions.
Click on File then Save As and then change the title.

No. Portrait is the default page orientation in Excel.
Right click on the actual tab. That will bring up a shortcut menu which will have the Rename option on it.
My.Computer.FileSystem.RenameFile("C:\mydocs\oldfile.xls", "newfile.xls")
You wouldn't rename a file in Excel. You would normally do it through Windows Explorer. However when opening a file in Excel, when the Open Dialog is open, it is possible to click on a file and rename it or do it through the Tools menu in the Open Dialog box. However you would rarely use that approach. The other thing you can do is use Save As and choose a new name, which will give you a copy and retain the old file.
In MS Excel, each page is called a worksheet.
A worksheet.
Right click on the worksheet's tab, which will give you a shortcut menu with the option to rename it.
