Also: (iMovie 10- newest one so far) this happened after I was trying to finalize the movie but it was taking too long and i needed to go so i clicked cancel and then it disappeared. The "all projects" folder in Imovie used to say 13 projects and it only showed 12 (so there was hope that that was my missing project) but now it only says 12 projects and it shows 12 projects. When I go to finder and click "show package contents" for imovie library i can see the folder for the project that disappeared but the folder is empty. Also this weird single frame picture of part of my missing project was found in my trash. i took it out from trash and tried to open it but it was only a picture.
The conversion should not have completely gotten rid of the iMovie project that you originally had. Look through your files to see if you still have the iMovie project that you converted to an iDVD project. If you completely converted it, then there's not much else you can do other than trying to see if you can revert it back to an iMovie project.
Yes it can run fine
If it's opening a previous project, just hit the red X button at the corner of the window. It will pop up the selection window for you.
See the Related Link below. It offers information on iMovie features, functions etc.
Once you open Imovie it should be right there just click on it. If not you might have deleted it. There is no way to get it back
As many as your hard drive has room for.
I had my contact list as a desktop application and it has disappeared. How may I recover it on my htc EVO?
An unfinished iMovie project can be saved to a disk to be worked on at a later date. A finished movie can be exported by selecting the Share menu and then Export Movie... Select a medium or large movie and export to disk to allow other people to enjoy your film on their computer or TV.
A .rcproject file contains details of an editing project from iMovie. It contains pointers to the original videos. To reestablish the connection to the video file the .rcproject should be put into the iMovie Projects folder within the Movies folder. When iMovie is launched the videos from the project will be available for exporting as a playable movie file.
Visit the Related Link below for more information on Jing projects, their formats etc. Then visit the iMovie site for information on formatting produced.
iMovie adds the zooming effect (called the Ken Burns effect) to slideshows you can either turn it off when you set up a new project or in an existing project right click on a clip and select Project Properties... from the menu and then change the Initial Photo Placement setting to Fit In Frame.
iMovie doesn't have a 'Save' function. It saves automatically when you close the program. You'll find when you re-open your project, the edits you made will be there.
