Basically, you can't delete the "built-in" apps (like Calendar or Safari) unless you "jailbreak" the phone - which voids your Apple warranty. You can only delete apps that you add later. To delete apps, go to the home screen and hold any icon until they all start to wiggle. Any app that has an X in the corner of the icon can be deleted by tapping on the X. Built-in apps do not have an X, meaning they cannot be deleted. However, you can move them to another screen or a folder - I created a "not used" folder on the last screen where I moved my built-in Calendar after buying a Calendar app. You can move icons and rename folders in Itunes by going to your ipod/iphone and clicking on Apps
hold any app for 5 seconds on the screen...then you'll see all the applications and such wiggling and with a black (x) on it you touch the (x) to delete it and just move the apps to move them. when you are done press the hold button and everything will stop.
to move from one screen to another
Hi, You can try the following ways to see if you can move the screen again: Force restart your iPad: this is a common solution. Turn off Device Orientation Lock: open Control Center. Find the Device Orientation Lock button and click it to turns off. Use Joyoshare UltFix: it is an iOS repair tool. It can fix your iPad issues at a fast speed and without data loss.
When you are moving apps, move one over another. The app behind the one you are moving will glow on the outside, let go and then you will have a folder.
To move apps, hold the app. Tapping will open the app, holding will make it movable. After a couple seconds you can now move the Messages app.
You have to tap and hold the app (or any other app), the apps will start to wobble/shake on screen. You then hold and drag your app to the page you want on your iDevice. You will also in this mode see an X to the top right corner of the apps, this is used when you want to delete an app from your iDevice. Once you have finished moving your apps to the page/place you want them, then press the home button (the button with the square on it) and this will set all the apps as and where you wanted to place them.
