Unfortunately it is just part of nature for the babies to be eaten occasionally however if this is happening litter after litter the mother should not continue to be bred as it is just her nature, also if it is a male eating the babies that is your problem males should never be in a cage with a female more than 2 weeks pregnant or nursing it could cause unintentional pregnancy (again) or the babies being eaten and even harm to the male or female parent if this doesnt completely answer your question ill try to explain some more :) also if you have any other questions i would be happy to answer them

Can you put a baby mouse with an adult mouse?

It depends on what relation ship the baby has with the adult. if it is its mother than probably. but keep quiet, any sudden noises can scare the mother and this can result to it eating its young. if it is a male mouse than this may not be a good idea as they are very territorial and may kill the baby.

How can your SIM have a baby?

First you need a male and female Sim as a young adult or adult. they need to both be romantically involved with each other. Keep using romantic actions until the action 'try for baby' comes available. When it is your Sims will get in bed and try for a baby. If you hear a lullaby, your Sim will get pregnant, but if you do not, then keep on trying!
