One could add the Google Toolbar to the Firefox browser by simply going to the Google Toolbar website and clicking 'Download Now'. The function has been discontinued however and it is no longer available in Firefox.

if you still have a gray bar left then do right click on it and add the bar that is missing.

else do alt V - the menu bar will appear and you can add toolbars
