For Windows XP, click and hold from an empty space on the taskbar, and drag it to the bottom of the screen. If this doesn't work, right click on the empty space and unlock the taskbar, first. Afterward, you might want to lock the taskbar, so you don't accidentally move it again.

you just gotta click on an empty area of the task bar and drag it to the bottom or wherever you want it to be and it'll get into place.........!!

so i can type what i want cuz when i log in i dont get it but my freinds do

Answer-right click your task bar. and select properties. then select taskbar location on scren and select the option that best suits your need.

you might have to shut down your computer and then turn it back on.It worked for me but sadly everything i had up on the screen is now gone forever.:,( -spottedleaffan

Left click on it and hold down the mouse button while gragging it back to the bottom. If it won't move, right click on it and uncheck the 'lock taskbar' button and try again.
