Are you asking how to get an image of something that appears on screen (a game) as a .gif file?
If so:

  1. Take a screen dump (the Prt Scr key on the top row of the keyboard towards the right).
  2. Open your favorite image editing application
  3. Make a new empty image
  4. Paste in the screen dump (probably [Ctrl + V] works here)
  5. Save as .gif
(if you cannot save as .gif then save as whatever and find an application that can convert - I use IrfanView)
