To create a username you usually use letters from your actual name. For example if your name was John Brown, you might select "JBrown" or "JBrown1"as your username.
Many times the username you want might not be available. For the above example you might have to pick something like "JBrown25".
To prevent identity theft, I suggest being a little different with your username. For "John Brown" try picking something like "Jo22Brn1".
Also remember that just like a password, you need to remember (or write down somewhere) your username, because if you forget it, you won't be able to login to wherever it's being used.
