Make sure the two computers are connected to a network or has an Ethernet cable between them, then turn on file sharing.
On a Mac go to "System Preferences"/"Sharing" then click on the box that says "File Sharing". On 10.4 or earlier click the "Start" button. On 10.5 and above it's auto.
On the upper finder menu click Go, then all the way at the bottom select "Connect to Server". In the window that shows up type in the IP address of the Laptop or the one you want to talk TO. If you don't know it then click on the "Browse" button. In order to put your resume on your computer you will need a word processing program like LibreOffice, or Microsft Word. You will have to type it manually. There is another method of inputing your resume on your computer. By scanning your resume via a scanner, you will have a picture of your resume, however, you won't be able to edit it if you need to.
Good computer skills you can put on a resume (these are the big ones employers look for): * You are proficient in using Microsoft Word and Excel * You have basic computer knowledge skills such as knowing how to make a file, folder, navigate the computer, etc. * If you know how to program, put whatever language you are good with (companies don't normally look for this but it will look good) Really all you need to put is the 1st item. Companies are sure to look for if you know how to use MS Word.
