Companies use computers that meet their needs. In an office environment where employees are using word processing software (such as the Microsoft Office Suite) they will not have high end computers. You could have a small graphic design or film editing company, these computers would be more advanced with better hardware to handle redering and to have multiple programs open that consume large amounts of RAM.
