MAC address are hard coded on network cards and network devices. A HUB acts as a splitter, so yes.
>both Mac addresses are provisioned;
Implies your ISP will assign unique IP addresses. The hub then acts as only an electrical connection box.
Without Unique IP addresses, you need a router instead of a hub or switch
"An ethernet cable splitter allows you to connect two computers to one ethernet connection. Once you have your splitter made, you plug it into both computers just as you would with a normal ethernet cable."
Cable hookupyou can string them in order wall to cable box ( if needed ) box to vcr ( for recording ) vcr to DVD and DVD to tv. Mine is hooked up wall to box, box to splitter, splitter to tv ( I have dual tuners for pip ) then coaxial out plugs on DVD to coaxial in on tv ( I don't use a vcr any more but if I did it would be after the splitter and before the tv.) There is no need to send cable to the DVD unless it is a recorder also or if you don't have auxiliary inputs on the tv.
The connect more than 2 TVs to a receiver, you need to splitter to split the signal for the TV to take to another TV. You can get a splitter at Radio Shack. The cable should be a RG6 coax cable. If you want to split TV 1 with anything other than a coax cable you need to get a special splitter for the type cable you are using from the receiver to the TV; RCA, component, or HDMI. HDMI does have a length limitation. When you mirror 2 TVs, the same program is on both TVs; when you change channels it will change both TVs channels.
The system should have a coax cable running from the antenna to a two way RF Splitter with one input and two outputs. One output needs a coax cable run to one TV and another coax cable connected to the second output and run to the second TV set. If the signal is not strong enough, use a powered splitter instead of a passive one.
Yes you just need a headphone splitter then put the splitter in the bass slot and plug both bass pedals in
With a cross-over cable just plug one end into the laptop and other end into the PC using the RJ-45 jacks. Then, configure both with static IP addresses and you are ready to go.
To connect a TV that is up stairs to one that is downstairs they would need to hook them both to the same input source with a splitter and cable. Both TVs will need to be on the same channel. Then what is shown on one TV will also be shown on the other TV.
connecting both the machines with a same cable which is a crosscable, which will able machines to communicate with each other, besides given alternate ip addresses on both machines
Not possible, both are numbers.
Grey, both on an Eaton-Fuller and a Mack 18 speed.
A USB splitter has one end that plugs into a computer or other device with a single USB connection and a second end which splits off into multiple USB connectors. One can buy a USB splitter at both online and retail stores including Newegg, Amazon and Staples.
The most common problem in this kind of sharing is both TV's will be receiving the same signal from the cable tv box, meaning u can only watch 1 channel at a time on the same TVs, and it depends on the cable tv box. However, a splitter can solve the problem only if there is another similar cable tv box for the other tv. The line has to be " Y " split before it gets into the boxes.
