I just bought a new PC with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit and was able to install Quickbooks 2004 pro with no problems. It runs beautifully. I have seen several sites on the web that insist that QBW2004 is incompatible with Windows 7 but, personally, i have had no problems. That being said, a client of mine got Windows 7 Professional a few years ago and had problems installing QBW2004. My guess is that, either the Professional version of Windows has problems with QBW2004 that the Home Premium version doesn't, OR that the current Windows 7 has eliminated the incompatibility issues. Short answer - try to install it and see what happens. You may be pleasantly surpised.
it is the seventh NT that windows has put out (3.0,95,98,2000/ME,XP,Vista,Windows 7)
Windows Blackcomb was announced in 2004, renamed to Vienna in 2006, and was later renamed to Windows 7 in 2007.

Nothing. If it works at all, it will tell you it can't upgrade from Windows 98.
