Open your AB in Office 2000, then go to the export feature. It's usually in Tools or File - been a while since I saw it. Export your AB file (make sure you know where it's located before you start) to one of the formats listed in the export protocol. Close it when done. Open Office Home, then your Address Book. Go to your Import feature. Find the file you exported previously with the Import tool - it should import it without any problem. The trick is always to convert/export a file to a format that is either compatible with both programs or can be imported and changed to work in a new program. That's true with most software.
