Absolutely yes they can see you! I have blocked camera use, covered my camera lens, even the microphone hole and they still see me. I believe it is a camera behind your actual monitor screen. It doesn't matter what you do....it is their stream and they will manipulate it however they want....make no mistake of that. I was suspicious so I tested multiple models and saw the looks on their faces when I entered their room. They passed the test for sure.....all of them.
