How do you transfer Kodak MOV files to files that will play and edit on Windows Movie Maker?
MOV files are not compatible with Windows Movie Maker. You will need to convert the Kodak MOV files to one of the file name extensions (formats) below before you can import/edit them in Windows Movie Maker:asf, .avi, dvr-ms, .m1v, .mp2, .mp2v, .mpe, .mpeg, .mpg, .mpv2, .wm, .wmvFree video converters are available online. Google: free video converters and download one. Then, open the program and convert the MOV file to one of those listed above.If the conversion is successful, you will be able to import/edit the newly converted file in Windows Movie Maker.
