Untrue. It entirely depends on the environment you raise them in. My husband tends to play his movies and music quite loudly. And I've discovered that my mice are actually deep sleepers, and I have even seem them sleeping on their back ( which I am unsure as to how normal that is... but I find it hilarious!).
