This problem is either a disk, driver or screen resolution problem.
Resolution problem - On start up press F5 before the welcome screen and select VGA Logging from the list - then once loaded restart as usual.
Driver Problem - On start up press F5 before the welcome screen and select safe mode. If you manage to log in to windows go to start -> control panel -> System -> Hardware manager -> Right click on your graphics card and uninstall then restart.
Hard Disk Repair - take it to a local computer shop or attempt to re install with the Cd's that came with the PC (you will lose your data).

If you just logged on, you will see a welcome screen, and possibly your desktop and icons.
How can you see the answer? YOUR SCREEN IS BLACK!
The computer screen could have becomed damaged and so might the computer.
If your computer screen goes black, the first thing to try is to turn your computer off, and then turn it on again. This allows the computer to re-boot.
If it asks you about a security warning push yes. Then it will load.
It is just part of the computer. It's not really part pf the screen
A font color mean the color of the typeface on the screen or the print that the printer puts out. The font color can be controlled with the computer software.
If your laptopscreen does not show anything - not even a manufacturers/microsoft logo during start-up, it is likely your screen is broken. If your laptopscreen shows a very faint picture, it is likely the backlight of your laptop screen is broken / disconnected. If however, everything is normal, up to when you would normally see your login screen, but then your screen goes black, it is likely to be a setting on your computer, which you yourself can fix. Please refer to the related link "black screen". You can not exactly but you can transfer the info from that computer to a new one if you bring it to where you bought it. Ken Eddy
