The potential storage space for the internet depends on the individual servers linked to it, not to some big standalone server somewhere. However, it is possible that with the expansion of the number of users and the immense data storage being implemented (e.g. "the cloud") it is possible that added storage capacity could be exceeded someday. But there is currently a very large excess storage capacity, and some older content has begun to be deleted when it is unused, or when the affiliated servers go offline.
